Ann Stanford Receives 2010 CMOTY Award

Ann Stanford was named the 2010 Amarillo Chapter IAAP Chapter Member of the Year at the chapter's Administrative Professional Day celebration on April 8.

Stanford joined IAAP in 2007. She attended the 2009 Seminar, and participated in the 2009 Mother’s Day flower delivery fundraiser. She serves on the 2010 T-L Division Seminars Committee, Banquet Committee, and Trips and Tours Committee. She also served the chapter as a member of the 2010-2011 Nominating Committee, 2009 Membership Committee, and 2009 Audit Committee. She completed ACT Software Training and attended Enterprising Ideas with Laura Stack and with Braden Black and Coco Duckworth. She completed self-study courses, “Getting Things Done” by David Allen and “Built to Serve” by Dan J. Sanders.

Ann is employed as the Administrative Services Coordinator at the WTAMU Enterprise Center. Ann is married to Steve Stanford, owner of S&M Automotive in Borger. They have two children, Lindsey, a senior Accounting Major at West Texas A&M University and Lane, a sophomore at Panhandle High School.

The Chapter Member of the Year (CMOTY) award is given each year to the chapter member who excels in five areas: 1) IAAP participation, 2) CPS/CAP participation, 3) Education study courses, 4) Teaching courses, and 5) Fundraising/Community involvement. Points are awarded for participation in each area and all members are eligible for the award.
