IAAP Milestones in Amarillo

  • 1952 - The first Texas-Louisiana Division Annual Meeting was held in Amarillo. The meeting was hosted by the Palo Duro Chapter. One of the chapters from South Texas (it may have been Magic Valley Chapter) brought onions to sell as a Ways & Means Project.
  • 1981 - Amarillo Chapter hosted the Texas-Louisiana Division Annual Meeting
  • Rachelle Redd, one of the Amarillo Chapter charter members, was elected to the Division Board in 1981 and served four four years, holding the offices of Treasurer, Second Vice President, President Elect and President.
  • 1984 - Palo Duro Chapter merged with Amarillo Chapter
  • 1992 - Amarillo Chapter again hosted the Texas-Louisiana Division Annual Meeting
  • 2010 - Amarillo Chapter hosts the Texas-Louisiana Division Annual Meeting
